Mother’s Love
“God couldn’t be everywhere, that’s why He made Mothers. “” I am sure you all heard about this famous quote. Its beautiful, isn’t it?
Mother is our Alma mater, our first connection with the world, who bears us for nine months in her womb and then brings us to the world with much care, nourishes us with much love. We don’t have to tell her about our emotions. Our hearts she can see through and through without us uttering a single word. Yes, most of us boast of having such mothers. And that’s exactly what is expected of mothers.
But I have seen life from very close. I have seen the ugly truth of people too. I learnt not to take things on its face value. God showed me the truth of the world and it’s people in a very unique way, without me getting hurt ever, while learning.
I can totally explain this.
Most of my philanthropic activities have been inspired by my mother. She taught me much, showed me how people struggle in life to earn their bread. Taught me the value of money. She taught me that even if I have more, I should respect every penny. She herself has always been involved in many charitable activities. Since childhood, I saw her volunteering to bless many less fortunate people.
My mother is an exponent of Tagore’s Songs. Famous in her own field. So various ministries keep requesting her to help people in transformation of hearts through her music. She is a compassionate lady, So she agrees whenever she can afford time.
One of her philanthropic endeavor was to teach music to all the inmates of the infamous prison “”Tihar Jail”” . She agreed to help. During her visits, She happened to meet various kinds of criminals, from ruthless hardcore ones to new criminals. One of her students in the jail was a young womanAarti (Name changed), who was an eager learner of music. That brought her close to baring her heart to my mother and eventually my mom could gather the courage to ask her the reason why she was behind bars. But what came out from the young woman’s mouth wasn’t certainly what my mother was expecting. Her story goes like this……
Aarti’ had a new born baby, who was crying most of the time. The baby’s cries irritated her, so she decided to put an end to this. She put the newborn in a pressure cooker and closed the lid and killed her. My mother almost fainted hearing this. And when mom shared it with me, I suffered high fever which didn’t leave me for almost a week.
I couldn’t believe people with such mindsets exist on earth. They are demons.
Mother’s ?
Mother’s are the ones who are compared with God on earth. They are the ones who are supposed to shelter us, protect us, bless us, feed us and do everything possible in their strength to do good to us. And we find the worst mother figures who are trying to snuff breath out of their little children. Yahoo comes out with worst such cases almost on a daily basis about mothers and fathers who succeeded in killing their children in gruesome ways. In India we find honor killings a tradition. Can we really compare mothers with God?
NO! we cannot compare anyone with God and God’s love. All of us are so wicked, yet He showers His blessings upon ungrateful souls like us.
Humans are wicked by nature. Their minds are towards sins and sinful ways. But God’s love? It has no end.
Ï will sing of the Lord’s great love forever. With my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. “”(Psalm 89:1)
“”How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings”(psalm 36:7)
“”His love endures forever””(Psalm 136:7)
God’s love isn’t conditional, neither irritable. His love is infinite. Though our father and mother may forsake us, Lord’s love will hold us close( Psalm 27:10)

Isaiah 49:15…””Can a mother forget her own baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!!””😊
Todays’ fast paced life, we cannot trust on anyone, neither our parents, siblings nor friends. All we can hope on is our Lord! Fortunately His mercies never fail.
And how great His compassionate love is that He sacrificed His own son Jesus for redemption of mankind. Can any love be greater than that. Never!
I learnt, human love is conditional. Its futile. But God’s love endures forever!
Blessings!
