Holy Bible has put much emphasis on being compassionate towards the poor and showing mercy towards them.

Book of Acts 6:1-7 mentions distribution of food to the poor in Jerusalem.. In the book of Galatians Paul shares this story . Galatians 2:10 “Only they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do .”

I have been a witness to God’s mercies always. Interestingly whenever we tried helping the less fortunate ones quietly, Lord ensured our blessings multiplied. Poor are the ones who cannot repay us if we are kind to them. Nevertheless, God our Father in heaven( is their Father and God too) , bless us much more abundantly than we can ever bless anyone with. For all good things come from God alone .(James 1:17)

God is no one’s debtor (Hebrews 6:10). God’s Spirit abides in the poor people. He is the Creator of all…the rich and the poor. He gives sunshine and rain to all equally. He is not partial. He is a merciful gracious God.
