“An ideal Woman”
What is the picture of an ideal woman?
We live in 21st century liberal age, liberal thoughts, liberal lifestyle but amidst all this modern culture, there still is an identity, of “an ideal woman”. She cannot and should not, be defined by the clothes she wears, there’s much more to it.
(Shash Grewal(Shashwati) believes in being spiritual, rather than following man-made religious traditions.)
Personally, I always felt, the true beauty of a woman is not her physical beauty alone. She should really have a beautiful heart, where it really counts if she is beautiful physically but her heart is filled with malice and unkind thoughts for everyone, her beauty is vain, isn’t it?
(Shash Grewal(Shashwati) is a philanthropist and a social worker, who tries to reach out to hurting hearts with scriptural blessings and kindness.)
In the Holy Bible, book of proverbs 31:10-31 the scriptures literally gave not only a description but also the guidelines for an ideal woman.
She is “a capable, intelligent, virtuous one, far more precious than the value of rubies or pearls, her husband’s heart trusts her confidently, relies on her and believes in her securely.
(Being a Sangeet Ratna, Shash Grewal(Shashwati) composes fusions and enlightened music, in praise and worship.)
She comforts, she encourages and does him ‘only good’ as long as there is life within her.
She works tirelessly, wakes up early and prepares food for her household and works with willing hands.
She opens her mouth in skilful and Godly wisdom and on her tongue is the ‘law of kindness”.
Surprisingly, our surroundings and lifestyles are making us less tolerant towards each other, we do not waste much time on things that are emotional. Do not want to look and sound like emotional fools’. World is a rat race, life goes on in routines, to earn as much as we can, things that should have taken priority in our lives(peace and love), now takes a backseat. There’s not much time left to spend time on ‘soul-food’, since we are busy “keeping up with the joneses”.
God has blessed each one of us, enough to fill our needs, but its never enough to fill our greeds, so ultimately kindness and compassion are mere words, not to be taken too seriously, this is what the world thinks now” but the truth is, somewhere at the back of our minds. We still believe in the same values, that scriptures laid thousands of years back.
(Shash Grewal(Shashwati) is a scriptural Motivational Writer, Speaker, Spiritual Teacher, Preacher and an Evangelist.)
The scriptures go on to describe like this. “She girds herself with strength(spiritual, mental and physical fitness for her God given task) and makes her arms strong and firm. She opens her hands for the poor, and reaches out her filled hands to the needy( whether in mind, body or spirit), she ensures her family is comfortable even when it snows heavy, because she chose to work hard when others were lazying around.

“Strength and dignity” are her clothing and her family calls her fortunate and blessed and her husband boasts of and praises her”!!!!
If you ask me, being a woman is the greatest privilege God has bestowed upon me. Cause He gave me the strength to love selflessly, to endure pain, when I feel like crying, I have the strength to smile, when I feel like giving up, the Spirit of My Lord guides me to persevere, the strength that God blessed each woman with. Its really remarkable, if just we know how to use it for the glory of God and for the benefit of our families and also for the people we come in contact with in our daily lives. We women are daughters, mothers, wives, friends and guide as well, real women empowerment is to be able to give definition to lives.
Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain and skin deep, but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she will be praised.
Know your strengths and be blessed.
