“Rehmat, Mehar and Shukrana”

A musical venture by a Bengali Brahmin by birth, in worship series, has been created while keeping the above phrase in mind. It is an extension of the work that Shash Grewal has been doing for a few years, by supporting the cause of helping orphan kids in various organizations. The project was birthed with an attempt to reach out to these kids with the love of Christ. Idea was to tell those who feel unloved, that they are loved and a major part of God’s plan. It’s purely a nonprofit venture. The donations and funds raised through the sale of CD’s are used for the Glory of God and help in the upliftment of these kids, apart from other supports they are provided by her.

But the most interesting fact about the project is that the CD was not created for believers or those who already know about Christ. It was created for those people of the secular world, who are unaware of the reason, why “Jesus Christ” left the glory of heaven, to be a humble human and walked on the earth. She is trying to reach out, to all the people, with the simplest message of love and sacrifice, and eventual victory on the “Cross”, in a very contemporary, nonreligious and nonpolitical way, so that these people may not miss out on the beautiful “Father and child” relationship that every human being can celebrate in their daily walk of life. God has been very kind and good to her.
