Perspectives of women and leadership!
If we go to the book of Genesis, ch 2:22, God put Adam to sleep and took a rib out of him and made a woman”. God is a compassionate God, so out of compassion, God basically made a ‘companion’ for Adam, since God saw Adam was lonely.
(Shash Grewal(Shashwati) is an enlightened writer and composer, who writes love saga of her Lord Jesus and herself.)
Now talking of leadership and women leaders. A woman’s journey actually starts from being a companion, and yes, every woman is a leader, which starts from leading her husband into the spiritual realm, leading him into making correct choices in life, about various aspects of life, leading our kids to abundant life, taking care of our households well, you see, we are born leaders. What we women can do and endure, men cannot.
(Shash Grewal(Shashwati) is a “scriptural motivational writer, who explain Life, common principles, in a very lucid manner so that the younger generation can relate to the solutions She offers, through her writings to the problems, they face on a daily basis.)

But, there’s a punch here.
If Eve had not led Adam to a wrong decision of biting the apple from the tree of wisdom, world would have been spared from the process of life and death, sickness, enmity and so many more evils, and confusions. Ultimately, it is us women, who lead our men to wrong choices and decisions most of the time, not all the time though.
I feel we women, being a bit too emotional, get too carried away in life. If a woman is following the scriptural guidelines, I think she would be a mature woman, trustworthy enough to be trusted with important decisions of life. So basically, emotional maturity is top most priority, which is lacking in today’s day, in most of the women, since they have no one to guide them, simply because they don’t want to listen to anyone, as they feel they are being dominated by men of authority in their lives.
(Shash Grewal(Shashwati) is a “Scriptural Motivational speaker”)
Now I am a 21st century woman, educated, with a mind of my own. But still a bit conservative in thoughts, in certain areas. What I noticed in my journey, is this. The entire world is filled with confusion, strifes and unhappiness. Reason!!! Wrong choices.
(Shash Grewal(Shashwati) believes in being spiritual, rather than following man-made religious traditions.)
Invariably because of a wrong partner. Today’s women are liberated, educated and free to do what they want to do. Nothing wrong in that..even I have all my freedoms. But if I say I should walk shoulder to shoulder with men. Can I literally do that? Can I really do the things that men can do? We talk of equality, but it would be very difficult to walk at nights alone for a woman, for becoming too boisterous amongst men or moving alone with men. it’s asking for troubles for yourself. We women will still have to be under the authority of either our husbands, or our fathers and brothers, since ultimately, they will be the ones to protect us.
(Shash Grewal(Shashwati) is a scriptural motivational Lecturer, who guides people on life’s basics principles.)
At the same time, don’t think that we women are inferior. No! Women are very strong people, whom God made to define lives. We are complete in self! But we shouldn’t make our men to take the back seat in our lives either. Our husbands are supposed to guide us, lead us, and counsel us to become better in wisdom. God made everything the way He made, for a very specific reason. He planned it all so well that , trying to change the traditional thoughts of relationships, we might end up disrupting the entire process of love and relationships. There’ s a very fine line in every relationship. If we try and force our unconventional thoughts, we basically disturb the very foundation of the vision, God created the world with. Ultimately it all leads to more confusions, dissatisfactions and fights in our lives.
(Shash Grewal(Shashwati) is a philanthropist and a social worker, who tries to reach out to hurting hearts with scriptural blessings and kindness.)
Book of proverbs ch 31, has given clear guidelines, on how a woman of God, should conduct.
Proverbs 31:10, says A woman of God, is a capable, intelligent and a virtuous woman. Far more precious than jewels , her value is far above rubies and pearls. She comforts, encourages with kindness on her lips, and does only good. Her husband trusts in her confidently. Verse 26, goes on to say , that she opens her mouth with Godly wisdom and people call her blessed!!! Her family calls her blessed!
Our families observe us women from so close! Just imagine, if we are portraying ourselves as a good leader, but our husbands cannot share their minds with us, as their companions, our children have not been handled properly and are not worth talking about, no matter what leadership skills we have, its of no use. Our lives our homes, would actually reflect, how far we have been able, to achieve.
(Being a Sangeet Ratna, Shash Grewal composes fusions and enlightened music, in praise and worship.)
So I believe, a true woman leader is basically a worshipper above all, a true companion to her husband, submissive to her husband and not loud and boisterous, and knows how to define lives with scriptural guidelines.
Prayer:-
Give me oh Lord, heavenly wisdom, so that I may learn to seek and find you above all things, to relish you and love you above all created things, and to consider all other things, according to the order of your wisdom. Grant that I may prudently avoid him, who flatters me, and patiently support him who contradicts me. Because it is great wisdom, not to let oneself be moved with every wind of words, nor to give ears to the siren who wickedly flatters, because thus one proceeds securely in the way undertaken.
