“MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE”…….HOSEA 4:6
It is a new month and a new beginning. I wish all my readers a wonderfully blessed month and my prayer for all of you who are reading my article right now and even the ones who are not reading, is this “that God bless you in abundance and may “HE” extends your boundaries as well, that you may be called blessed by everyone, who comes in contact with you and they may glorify your Father in Heaven”.
(Being a Sangeet Ratna, Shash Grewal(Shashwati) composes fusions and enlightened music, in praise and worship.)
I would like to awaken all my brothers and sisters in Lord all over the world, with whatever little wisdom my God has given me, with a harsh reality, probably which we all are aware of, but do not want to make changes.
Have we ever pondered on the issue of religion?? What is religion???? Are we supposed to be religious people or spiritual people???? How do we connect to our Creator???
To begin with, I feel religion is basically a lifestyle. I am a Bengali Brahmin by birth. I have noticed in last so many years during my travels that wherever Brahmins and Hindus are settled, they have access to ample amount of water. For example, Hardwar, Puri etc they can keep themselves clean, which is good. But what bothers me is this pandits say you cannot worship God until and unless you have taken shower and are clean. Now practically almost everyone takes shower in the morning at least ones which means we can worship “HIM” only in the morning. Now what about the rest of the day? We can’t worship anymore since we are not clean? And what about the heart condition? Are we clean enough in our hearts to be able to present ourselves in “HIS” presence?

Sikhs were created as a marshall clan for protection of Indian women’s modesty from the cruel Mughals. It was done by the Tenth Guru”Guru Gobind Singhji”. We as Indians owe a lot to this clan, since Indian army has the maximum number of officers from this clan from time immemorial, till today. They believe “Guru Granth Sahib” the holy book is their teacher which is good but worshipping only the book????? And what about applying the teachings in our day to day life??
What about Supreme God who is supposed to be worshipped alone????
Christians are supposed to be forgiving and tolerant race, since they are aware of what Jesus taught during His ministry on Earth message was very clear, Mathew 28:19-20. “Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit”. “Tell them that forgiveness of God is available ”did Lord ever say ”go and expand religion Christianity” or “go and make religious race”????? When the hearts are not baptized in truth is it of any good use to convert religion????
No. We all got confused en-route.
As far as Muslims are concerned anyone who doesn’t believe in “Allah” becomes a “kafir”.
I wonder what are we all gaining by all this??? Where is God in all these beliefs? Are we even aware what “HE” expects from us? God never desired that His people should live in unrest or confusions. Infact His very desire was to make each of His creation happy. Otherwise, in the beginning, He wouldn’t have made a companion for Adam (His very first human creation)… Eve, to be his helper in everything. God wanted to see Adam happy since He saw Adam was lonely without any companion, Genesis 2:20. God wouldn’t have created all the animals and vegetation for our benefit, if He wanted us to live in lack and confusion. Instead of making the world a beautiful place to live in, to live in harmony with each other, we grieve the heart of God by making everything religious and forcing religious ways and beliefs in everyone’s hearts, and cause fear in the gullible and vulnerable hearts. Why can’t we just be good Samaritans and just be connected to our Creator “24×7”. That’s why He created us. to be connected to Him every moment. Worship is a heart condition, that allows us to remain in Him every moment, not only when we are in need.
We should be the change. rather than trying to change the world and its people, we should look inside ourselves and see where we are going wrong in bringing about the change!!!! Don’t think “what can I do in such a vast world, and why will anyone care for my opinion?” Then let me encourage you with the story of Moses. Exodus 3:4-10 God called Moses out to go to Pharaoh to free HIS people Israelites out of Egypt. He was called alone to do it. Moses was a man of slow speech, and awkward tongue (Chapter 4-10-Exodus. I’m sure a man who is not a good conversationalist because of his handicap, Moses must have been suffering from lack of self confidence. But God assured him that He will be with Moses’s mouth and teach him what He has to say.

Why do we worry so much? We just have to trust in Him ,put in a petition in prayer, as it is we cannot do anything on our own strength. We need “HIM” every moment to help us.“Nor by power, neither by might but by My Spirit sayeth The Lord” just believe this and we are good to go.
Commandments of God were clear from the beginning….much before any religion came into existence. Exodus 20:1-17. Out of the 10 commandments, two commandments took priority always in the new commandment.
1) You shall not make any graven image to worship and 2) you shall love thy neighbor.
We as representatives of Christ are to show love, kindness and compassion to all, since Lord was an embodiment of Love and Compassion. Why do we make such a simple message so complicated?
Let us pledge to glorify God by transforming ourselves into compassionate creations of God that He may be able to say “well done my servant’. We can show “Jesus” to the world by our love for each other and not by heavy theological reasoning. Let us wake up!!!!!
